There's not a whole lot that I can add to what's already been said. I've used a lot of different woks, and these carbon shell ones are the best. Thin enough to heat up and cool off quickly (as they should), and terrific workmanship. To season them, I'd recommend using a camp stove and doing it outdoors. I have a two burner one that has 15,000 btu's per burner, and it was great to use for seasoning my two woks. There is a large amount of smoke, so doing it outdoors makes sense. I can also say that the wok tools (ladles and shovels) are terrific-- exceptional quality. Look no further! This is the place to purchase woks and accessories!

bought this wok to replace a ken hom one wich had seen better days {ie poor quality} had a little trouble with the seasoning but seems ok now using ground nut oil makes a big differance now we are enjoying our chinese again

Saw these type of woks being used in Hong Kong. Loved them so much, I had to get one for myself. Looked all over for a simple, inexpensive and authentic wok - like I saw when traveling. Great for Paella Review by Steve Cooper

I purchased the 24" wok, to be used to cook paella at a beach party. Turned out that it worked perfectly and we were able to feed about 20 people from one pan! Awesome!!
