Our commercial-grade Wok Rings are used to support woks on home cooktops and assist in concentrating the heat - not for use with a Chinese Range.
For correct sizing, you should choose the wok ring that is 4" smaller than your wok.
For example: Our 12" stainless steel wok ring is specifically designed for a 16" round-bottomed wok.
Our 10" wok ring is made of plated steel, 1½" high and fits a 14" wok.
Our 12" wok ring is made of stainless steel, 3½" high and fits a 16" wok.
Our 14" wok ring is made of stainless steel, 3½" high and fits a 18" wok.
Our 16" wok ring is made of stainless steel, 4" high and fits a 20" wok.
A Favorite Recipe: Sweet & Sour Sauce
½ cup rice vinegar
4 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon ketchup
1 teaspoon soy sauce
2 teaspoons cornstarch mixed with 4 teaspoons water
- Mix the vinegar, brown sugar, ketchup, and soy sauce together and bring to a boil in a small pot. Mix together the cornstarch and water, add to the other ingredients and stir to thicken.
- (If desired, you can add 1 green pepper, cut into chunks, and pineapple chunks as desired after adding the cornstarch. For a thicker sauce, increase the cornstarch to 4 teaspoons while keeping the water constant.)
